Hello! Welcome to EMiL!

EMiL is happy to provide access to its instruments for teaching and outreach activities, including classroom visits, hands-on lab exercises, and other educational events. Our goal is to support learning and give students practical experience using our instrumentation.

Planning and Coordination

Teaching and outreach activities requiring more than three hours of lab access must be discussed with the EMiL lab manager before the beginning of the semester.

Discussions should include expectations, number of students, sample types, and any specific requirements.

A clear and detailed timeline of the proposed lab sessions must be drafted and approved prior to access.

Access and Fees

Lab access and instrument use are free of charge for up to three hours per course or event.

If additional time is needed, the EMiL team will review the request, and potential fees will be discussed.
