Users of the EMiL facility are encouraged to acknowledge the facility in their publications and presentations, as this support is vital for its continued operation. Before publishing results, users are welcome to submit manuscripts for review, and upon project completion, we request a copy of the final report for our records to help justify future support of the facility.
When analyses conducted at the EMiL facility are published in journals, book chapters, conference proceedings, theses, or presented in talks, we ask that an acknowledgment similar to the following is included:
“SEM/EMP analyses were conducted at the Electron Microanalysis and Imaging Laboratory (EMiL) at UNLV.“
